Sunset High School

Sunset High School was the 2nd High School built in Oak Cliff as it expanded westward. Prior to the construction of Sunset High School, Oak Cliff High School (today called Adamson High School) was only high school in the town of Oak Cliff. Sunset was named after the Sunset Hill Addition and Sunset Heights, it opened in 1925. The colors of the school are purple and white with the Bison as it’s mascot.
